Known for her emotional range and natural presence, Raquel gravitates toward stories that center identity, healing, and underrepresented voices—always with the intention to connect and uplift.

Whether portraying a dramatic lead, modeling in campaign imagery, or lending her voice to meaningful collaborations, she approaches each opportunity with sincerity and intention.

Beyond her creative work, Raquel is a dedicated mental health advocate. She is the founder of Balik to School, a nonprofit supporting youth empowerment and education, and helped launch The Coleen Orphanage Project to serve under-resourced children in the Philippines. She’s spoken on panels focused on wellness, creativity, and cultural identity—always weaving her belief that art and healing go hand-in-hand.

She also holds titles from earlier in her career including Miss Hawaii International and Miss USA Intercontinental, experiences that offered visibility and community engagement, but ultimately reaffirmed her deeper mission: to lead with purpose, not pageantry.

On social media, Raquel connects with her community through storytelling, behind-the-scenes moments, reflections on identity, and wellness practices. She is also the founder of Diwa House, a Filipino-inspired candle and ritual brand that features non-toxic, pet-friendly candles infused with healing crystals—a soulful extension of her commitment to intentional living.

With every project, Raquel Basco aims to shine a light—for herself, her culture, and the stories that deserve to be seen.
